TuneUp 6.0.0L Install Fails: Multiply Defined Symbol SCF
Kernel link fails with multiply defined symbol 'SCF'
I'm running release 6.0.0L of TuneUp, on SCO OpenServer 5.0.x. My hard drive is attached to the Symbios Logic host adapter, using the slha driver.
The kernel link fails with a multiply defined symbol, first defined in /etc/conf/pack.d/slha/Driver.o.
The symbol is SCF.
Both drivers (Olympus TuneUp and Symbios Logic) contain a function called SCF.
The kernel can only resolve one instance of each name. If a name is defined more than once, the kernel link will fail.
To fix the problem, download a new /etc/tuneup/pack.d/drt/Driver.o
The new Driver is identical in function to the existing 6.0.0L driver.
Download SCF.tar.Z. ( 77644 bytes, checksum (sum -r) of 48582)
The archive is in Unix tar format and contains the new driver and a README file.
